Yes, I'm still alive! Woo!

Uh... I really haven't done much lately. I've had a few setbacks in my life in general, but I'm better now (maybe better than before!), and am hoping to do SOMETHING soon. No clue as to what, but I'm getting that creativity itch again!

--Life News--

First, a few bad things happened. I had a few REALLY bad lows a few weeks ago, and felt miserable. I had a medical mishap and no memory of about 4 1/2 hours (don't worry, it was halfway expected and is resolved now). I weighed myself for the first time in 3 months only to find I've gained weight instead of lost. I had more people quit or have large absences at work. I had vacation time to use up, but the annual inventory was also looming. To say the least, I've been stressed to the extreme.
Second, some good things happened! After my emotional low, I felt soooo relieved. Not to be gross or graphic, but it's like being constipated and finally getting to take a dump! Such relief! My medical problem was not serious, and I was at home with my husband, so I was safe and sound. I came to realize just how much he cares for me, just he expresses it in subtle ways. I may have gained weight, but I just got a promotion at work that will allow me to ease some stress. Not to mention the higher-standard dress code calls for slimmer clothing, and I want to look good! Now that's a motivator: Lose weight = new clothes! I managed to get through the rush at work, got a new employee hired and trained, and my crew is working as a team even better than before. I got my vacation time in AND got inventory running smoothly. Finally, some of my oldest friends just had a baby, and I got to spend a few hours in cuddly baby mode! awwww
Finally, we are trying to get ready for another move. We really need to get out of this neighborhood, obviously, but it's difficult when 1)you have pets, 2)your new raise won't go into effect for another month, and 3)the college kids are moving back into town at the same time. This is neither good nor bad, just a fact of life change. We will probably have to get a smaller apartment to get in the nicer neighborhood, stuff like that. I'm working on getting back into school and still try to advance my current job. I need to cut back on work to do well in school, but I need to pay bills AND I don't have financial aid (yet).

--Misc.--

Uh... I really love Katamari Damacy? I can't wait for the City of Heroes Rogue expansion, too. I'm taking a mini-training course for work, and actually *enjoying* it. o.O It's really hot here in the Midwest, and our AC is on the fritz. My husband might just have to learn to suffer! Oh, and since the digital transition on 4-12, we have no TV because we don't feel like paying for it.
