Lace Fantasy in Blue

A custom-order wedding cake. Design is partially my own. I had a display wedding cake in this design that was originally purple, but faded to a deep blue; the customer favored that blue. I didn't take the time to lay out the satin that goes around the stand (so you don't see the styrofoam) or to put the ivy sprigs in the middle of each tier... I leave that to the customer's discretion.

Cascaded 3-tier cake. White cake, vanilla buttercreme icing, 2 hours.
